Summary[edit]

Description

Don't care what anyone says, you simply cannot beat window light for portraiture. Something about the way this modicum of light, even on a cloudy day, renders skin tones and highlights. Its beautiful how it softens what it needs to, but doesn't strip any of that vital detail from fabric or from texture. In my opinion, its the only option for natural looking portraiture.

Jo-Louise

You all know Jo-Louise, you have seen her photos recently and they have been quite popular. Ive worked with her twice before already, but I never quite noticed just how beautiful she is. She is an uncommon mix. She has a seductive figure, one bursting at the seams with sensuality, coupled with the voice and poise of someone much more reserved. She is slight and meek, yet bubbly and energetic. She holds you in conversation with an enthusiasm that grips you, yet beneath her words lies a sexiness that I hadn't until today noticed. See I don't look at models, let alone find them in any way attractive.

So as to not repeat what we last achieved when we shot, I tried to capture her sexiness, her lust if you will. I wanted to showcase how desirable a person can be and to present that in a way that leaves no questions. In some ways, these images may be a little obvious, but I think they work in the way intended. Some are deliberately provocative, some are more subtly editorial. From every distant view, gazing through bannisters and doorways, I think you will see Jo-Louise as you would if you met her. Indirectly sexy, innocently seductive and incredibly, undeniably beautiful.
