English: Leo Perez, a Navy hospital corpsman who served in Korea during the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir, recognizes a friend whose name is listed among the fallen on the honor wall of Anderson Hall, part of the Medical Education and Training Campus, Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston. Perez, a Navy hospital corpsman who served in Korea, was on post to participate in a ceremonial unveiling of the naming of the walkway leading to Jaenke and Fralish Halls. The walkway was named Avenue of the Chosin Few to remember and honor those who died as well as those who survived the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. |
