Summary
[edit]DescriptionNetherhall School from Limekiln Hill, 2007 - geograph.org.uk - 1394453.jpg |
English: Netherhall School from Limekiln Hill, 2007 The majority of buildings on the Upper School site (those in the middle distance with dark-tiled pitched roofs, on Queen Edith's Way) date from the rebuilding of 1995-6, when the former Grammar School for Boys buildings of 1959 were demolished. The flat-roofed Lower School (1957), on Gunhild Way, originally the Boys' and Girls' Secondary Modern schools, may be seen beyond. These buildings will close and be demolished when the new building of 2008-9 is finished and the whole 11-18 comprehensive school is concentrated on the Upper School site. |
