| Notes | Embossed gilt leather panel, with fruit, flowers, birds and putti. Leather panels were used to cover walls as an alternative to wooden panelling or textile hanging. A set of similar panels was presented by John III Sobieski to the church in Kartuzy. In about 1700, two fragments of this cordovan were used as altar frontal (antependium) of Saint Anne's Altar in the Toruń Cathedral. |
