Description: Fig. 1, disposition d'un filet pour la pêche des petits Colins en Norwege, entre Berghen & Drontheim. O O, nappe de filet quarrée, que l'on calle à fond de l'eau; C C, D D, quatre chaloupes qui, d'abord, l'entretiennent en situation, & ensuite se rapprochent pour le relever & prendre le Poisson qui se trouve dessus presque toujours en grand nombre; B, est une bouée qui indique l'endroit où l'on doit faire la pêche. Fig. 2, dispofition de filets pour prendre des Saumons dans la baye de Gron-wick-fiord; A B, nappe de filet garnie de flottes à la tête, & de lest au pied D E. F G, fig. 3, disposition de ce filet pour former un gord, que les Norwégiens nomment piège; le filet est tenu en état par les ancres A B C, & les manoeuvres G H I, g D C, qui sont amarées à la côte: le fond de ce piège est formé par un filet triangulaire G H g, fig. 2; G g, fig. 3, est l'entrée du piège, que le Pêcheur qui est en M, ferme en hâlant sur la corde R M. On voit en N une Yolle dont il se sert, tant pour tendre le filet, que pour aller prendre le Poisson. Fig. 3. Elle représente en plan un gord ou un piège plus simple, qu'on établit dans la rivière de Mandfal; A B C, l'entrée du piège; D, échafaud sur lequel est le Pécheur qui forme le gord en hâlant sur la manœuvre D B.
