English: New Inn Bridge at Horton in Ribblesdale Viewed from the lane to Newhouses and High Birkwith, the old stone bridge carries the B6479 over the River Ribble. This is the day of the 53rd Yorkshire Three Peaks Race, and a runner, on the right of the photo, seems to be trying to escape from the starting field, however, he was just going for a short run up Pen-y-ghent to warm up - before returning to start the race and run up Pen-y-ghent again. |
