English: No 9 on shed at Aberystwyth ( VoR) , April 1968 The last days of use of the old Vale of Rheidol shed on the stub of the harbour branch, with "Prince of Wales" showing off its new BR blue livery. The VoR locomotives were the only BR steam locomotives to carry this colour scheme. It(he?)was about to set off for the station to take a train up to Devil's Bridge. The nearer houses are Glanrafon Terrace on the other side of the Rheidol. |
