| Description |
English: Oasis House, Tring "The Oasis", an attractive house at the Eastern end of Tring High street, was built originally for Lord Rothschild's agent. Its distinctive tudoresque design identifies it as being by local architect William Huckvale (1848-1936). A pity about the dangling cable and the flagpole, complete with threadbare flag, which blight the frontage of the adjacent building (also by Huckvale). |
