St Lucia Barracks is one of the finest - if not the finest example of a Victorian Barracks within the British Commonwealth and former Empire. - more at http://www.operationbanner.com/news.asp?StotyID=73 However in May, 2007, the army was in the process of vacating the site and as part of the process, the communications tower was dismantled - see 437866. |
