see as many as forty boy*-and young men at one communion table to receive the sacrament. Inthree years there were 109 additions, the male exceeding the female by8%. The present membership is 340. There are six churches in Bluff-ton, a town of 2,000 inhabitants. The Sunday school with an average attendance of 250 has rankedthree successive years as a Front Line school, furnishing a numberof trained teachers, using graded lessons and maintaining three largeorganized adult classes. The pastor considered the Parish Mouse thecause of the success attained by the Sunday school. Other organizations of this church are Home (iuards, WesleyanGuild, Home Missionary Society, Epworth and Junior Leagues. Anew building costing not less than SI5.000 is to be erected. Rev. JohnHarding Butler was pastor of this church for three years and duringthat time was secretary of the Allen County Sunday School Associa-tion. Since September, 1913, the Bluffton M. E. Church has had Rev.W. R. Burton for its pastor.
