Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: Old Hall ruins Large parts of the Old Hall look like this, with most of the floors now gone and no roof. There are small sections of the white decorative plasterwork in place as can be seen here at the top right. English Heritage has given these a little protection from the weather by building a little slanting roof over the top of each one. This area on the ground floor was the Great Hall, the entrance to the main house and an area where the servants ate their meals. |
