| Description |
English: Old Sleepers These are possibly sleepers from the ripping up of the Southwold Railway that ran through here. The line closed in 1929 but all the stock (including steam engines) were left to decay at Halesworth along with the rails and infrastructure. Two attempts to reopen failed and in the second world war the rails were ripped up and the stock scrapped. |
