English: Old YHA Youth Hostel at Birdsall Brow, East Yorkshire The old YHA hostel at Vessey Pasture Farm, Birdsall Brow, in the traditional East Riding of Yorkshire, was opened in 1935 by permission of Lord Middleton, and closed in early 1938. It was replaced by the YHA hostel at Wharram. This photograph was taken in 2002. Please contact if you have any tales to tell of old hostels like this. |
