Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Old lifeboats never die. When lifeboats reach the end of their service with the RNLI they are sold sometimes to other rescue organisations (usually abroad) or to individuals. This one, visiting Bangor marina, was built in 1959 as the “Kathleen Mary” and was the station boat at Newhaven, Porthdinllaen and Appledore as well as spending a spell in the relief fleet. It is now in private ownership as the “Katie May”.
