Summary

English: Old mountain road over Bancbryn One of the roads over the mountain that didn't quite make it to our modern road market. Far more substantial than many of trackways over the region's mountains, there was evidence that this track has been underpinned and carefully constructed for its entire length.
On the map, the road appears more straight than it actually is on the ground - and this can be seen here - evidence that the original track-way went straight on rather than taking the kink to the right can be seen as a disturbance in the ground. |
