Nederlands: In Nederland is hennepteelt niet toegestaan. Toch zijn er naar schatting 10.000 tot 30.000 hennepkwekerijen. Een groot deel van deze hennepkwekerijen bevindt zich in woningen en veroorzaakt veiligheidsrisico’s voor omwonenden door overbelasting van de elektriciteit. Om de veiligheid van omwonenden van hennepkwekerijen te verbeteren moeten publieke en private partijen samenwerken en maatregelen nemen om onveilige woonsituaties als gevolg van hennepteelt te voorkomen. Dat schrijft de Onderzoeksraad voor Veiligheid in het vandaag verschenen rapport ‘Omgevingsveiligheid hennepkwekerijen’.
