| Description |
English: On Soutra Hill Long grass after a frosty night. The chestnut fence is snow protection, the snow should settle in drifts by the fence, not on the nearby A68. A similar principle to snow fencing on ski slopes.
This is on the Southern Upland Fault, and there is a contrast between the hill country and the plains of East Lothian below. |
