| Description |
English: Open water, finally. A view opens up, allowing a glimpse of open water and of the boathouse > 1107347 in Martham Broad. A variety of ducks can be seen on the water. This view was taken from the public footpath which follows the Somerton Boat Dyke > 1107313 veering off in northwesterly direction and leading past Martham Broad Nature Reserve. At the northwestern edge of the broad it follows the course of the River Thurne > 1096272 all the way to Martham Ferry > 851941 further to the west. A track > 1096292 along the way, however, links with Damgate Road > 929498 in the village of Martham, offering a shorter route. |
