Summary[edit]
DescriptionOssian's Cave - geograph.org.uk - 1341941.jpg |
English: Ossian's Cave. This tall thin cave, high on the northern face of Aonach Dubh 1341848, can be reached by a steep ascent from Achtriochtan, but the final climb to the cave is a difficult 60m rock climb on often wet and greasy rock. This place is not recommended for hill walkers. The cave was formed by a section of basalt dyke that fell away. At one time a visitor's metal box was inside the cave. |
