VERGENNES.VERGENNES. (Labr.) Originated with Wm. E. Green, Vergennes, Vt. Achance seedlmg found growing in his garden. Ripens after Concord ; bunch of me-dmm size, berry large, skin thick and tough. Vine very vigorous, healthy and pro-ductive, hardy ; quality excellent; a splendid keeper and shipper. This is a Grapewhich growers will be inclined to keep and cultivate. A good market Grape vine- ig2 OUR NATIVE GRAPE. yardists have been looking forward to. The Vergennes is on the way to become aspopular and useful in the sense that the Concord is. VENANQO. (Labr.)
