Two Hawaiian ponieswere among those from the West whichcreated a stir at Meadowbrook. Theywere Dr. Will P. Baldwins Carry-the-News and Walter F. DillinghamsHelen C. The latter was used byLarry Waterbury, while Carry-the-News was mounted by Captain Whit-ney. This chestnut horse, one of themost valuable polo animals in the world, (587)
