English: Overbecks House and Garden Looking north-east up the estuary to Salcombe Harbour. Overbecks House on the left, named after scientist Otto Overbeck, who lived at the house from 1928 to 1937, when he gave the house and garden to the National Trust. The house contains an interesting natural history and maritime museum. The gardens contain many sub-tropical plants, which thrive in the mild climate.
