Summary[edit]

Description
English: Ox Drove near Chicklade Bottom. The light is fading. This path in the grass climbing up the chalk downland is the Ox Drove, a drove road of possibly pre-Roman antiquity that runs west to east predominantly along chalk downland in west Wiltshire. Here the Ox Drove is a restricted byway as well as being part of the Monarch's Way, see 481937. The dual carriageway of the A303 Basingstoke to Honiton trunk road can just be seen to the left.
