Description
Deutsch: Pirna: Blick auf den ehemaligen Sitz (1902-39) der Amtshauptmanschaft in der oberen Burgstraße 9. Die AH Pirna war die größte und einwohnerstärkste in Sachsen. Sie umfasste 1920 eine Fläche von 906 km² mit 12 Städten, 158 Landgemeinden, 62 Gutsbezirken, 34 Rittergütern und 14 Forstrevieren. Der heutige Landkreis Sächsische Schweiz (Sitz Pirna) ist 888 km² groß, umfasst 11 Städte und 14 Gemeinden (Stand 2006). Das Gebäude beherbergt heute eine Polizeistation.
English: Pirna: View on the former house of the administration of Pirna county, mentioned as "Amtshauptmannschaft" (today "Landkreis"). The building is nowadays used as a police station.
