English: U.S. Army Col. Michael Getchell, Brigade Commander of 4-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT), awards U.S. Army Spc. Cristian Loera, security force team member for Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) Farah, the combat action badge (CAB) at FOB Farah, Dec. 19. The CAB was awarded for the soldiers presence under direct hostile fire outside a meeting in Farah City, Nov. 4, 2012. No PRT members were injured during the attack. PRT Farah's mission is to train, advise, and assist Afghan government leaders at the municipal, district, and provincial levels in Farah province Afghanistan. Their civil military team is comprised of members of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). (U.S. Navy photo by Lt. j.g.
