Matthew Stroup, left, education liaison and public affairs officer for Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) Farah, conducts a mission debrief after returning to Forward Operating Base Farah following a key leader engagement with Farah's provincial director of education at Aboonaser Farahi High School in Farah City, May 13. PRT Farah met with the director to discuss the outcome of his improved budgeting techniques, infrastructure improvements to local schools and to deliver donated school supplies for Farahi students. PRT Farah's mission is to train, advise and assist Afghan government leaders at the municipal, district and provincial levels in Farah province, Afghanistan. Their civil military team is comprised of members of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, the U.S. Department of State and the Agency for International Development (USAID).
