English: Pasture full of rushes This cattle pasture once used to adjoin the buildings of Pewit Farm. Marked on 19th century OS maps the farm is not mentioned again from the 1950s onwards. Today no trace is left of any buildings and there is no indication that people once lived here. Wade's Beck flows past the edge of the unnamed woodland seen in the background. |
