Patriot Exercise is a domestic operations scenario to assess the National Guard's ability to assist state and local agencies in response to multiple emergencies. More than 1,100 U.S. service members and civil authorities, to include the FBI, Department of Health and Human Services and a variety of state agencies, were to participate in the exercise.
