Summary
[edit]DescriptionPeel Hall, Horton-cum-Peel - geograph.org.uk - 129204.jpg |
English: Peel Hall, Horton-cum-Peel. Peel Hall viewed from public footpath 4 in the parish of Horton-cum-Peel (80m, bearing 50 deg). History of the site obscure, but there is some evidence that there was once a motte, bailey and moat here although any trace seems not to have survived bulldozing after WW-II. For a long time a potato farm, now raising horses and being developed as a rural workshop site. |
