DescriptionPeel station 1972.jpg |
English: Peel railway station, Isle of Man The Isle of Man Railway station at Peel saw its last trains in 1967. The above photograph shows the closed station as it appeared in 1972. From the point of view of tourism to Peel, the loss of its railway was a severe blow, as far fewer people now make the day or half-day trip from Douglas. |
