Summary
[edit]DescriptionPhallus rubicundus (Bosc) Fr 892670.jpg |
Phallus rubicundus (Bosc) Fr. Image location: Roswell, Chaves Co., New Mexico, USA Located in a lush grassy area in Calhoun park. Took pictures of one the fruit bodies on the 14th but couldn’t tell if it had a cap under the gleba. I went back on the 15th to find another fruit body (also pictured) as well as the one from the 14th. Where I was able to identify that they indeed had a cap under the gleba. Smells like a metallic rotting banana. Recognized by sight
