Description
English: Pillbox A251 A type 24 pillbox built to cover the fields on the approach to Pikes Bridge. Barcombe Mills has always been an important crossing point of the River Ouse since Roman times and the huge numbers of pillboxes in the area attest to the importance of defending it. The footpath is the Ouse Valley Walk.
