Description

Plenário do Senado Federal durante sessão especial destinada a comemorar os 100 anos de instalação da IBM no Brasil.

A Comissão Senado do Futuro promove sessão especial dedicada à comemoração dos 100 anos de instalação da IBM no Brasil. A filial brasileira foi a primeira fora dos Estados Unidos. Em abril de 1917, a IBM foi instalada no país ainda com o nome de Computing, Tabulating & Recording Company (CTR). Nesse mesmo ano desembarcaram no país as primeiras máquinas impressoras da companhia.

À mesa, presidente da Comissão Senado do Futuro, senador Wellington Fagundes (PR-MT).
