| Description |
English: Pomathorn Mill This previous paper mill is now used as a storage depot and as a sales point for second-hand cars. The building on the left was specifically built to house a very large paper-making machine. This relatively new building was erected as an adjunct to the much older Valleyfield paper mill in the valley. It was deliberately sited to take advantage of the nearby Edinburgh-Peebles railway not long before this line was closed. |
