English: Pond Bay, River Ray 2. The gap in the embankment that curves away from the camera is possibly the position of the sluice of the medieval pond bay at this location, 962463, and a gap is shown on the OS 1:25,000 map. Whether or not this is the case, a path goes through this small gap which is used by cattle grazing in the field. |
