Description
English: The Porter Exchange Building at 1835 Massachusetts Avenue between Somerville Avenue and Roseland Street in the Porter Square neighborhood of Cambridge, Massachusetts, was built c.1927 as a Sears, Roebuck department store. Sears closed that location in 1985. The building now houses shops as well as offices, classrooms, an amphitheatre and other facilities of Lesley University's Porter Campus. (Source: Harvard Crimson story) To the right can be seen the two buildings (modern square, and Greek Revival church) of Lesley's Lunder Arts Center.
