PORTRAIT Monomet Gives Satisfaction Ansco Co^rpANY, MurfreesborOjTenn. Binghamton, N. Y. September 2,1917. Gentlemen: I beg to write you in regard to your Monomet.Since Metol went out I have had quite a lot of troublewith my developing. I have used several differentsubstitutes for Metol and I did not get satisfactory results from them so I have been using mostly, and was having so much trouble with my developingthat I decided to try something new. I wrote W. D.Gatchel & Son telling them to send me i oz. of thebest thing they had to take the place of Metol. Theysent me i oz. of Monomet, and on testing it I foundthat it fully takes the place of Metol. I am wellpleased with it and aim to stock up on it at once, fearful it might go out. I have been working in the photographic businessseventeen years and I know what a developer is, andwill say that any photographer who has not triedMonomet should do so and see for himself. Yours very truly, (Signed) J. L. Thomason, Manager, The Thomason
