Depicted person: Rudolf Colloredo (greve, fältmarskalk)

Svenska: Stående helfigur, fas vänster. Mörk, brungrön dräkt med delvis uppknäppt jacka. Vit, nedliggande spetskrage och spetsmanschetter. Kragstövlar av ljust skinn. Över vänstra armen mantel, i högra handen kommandostav. Till vänster i bakgrunden utsikt över batalj, till höger rött draperi. Värjfäste vid vänster sida.
Rentoillerad duk. Kilad spännram. Förgylld, profilerad ram. Ramlistens bredd 160 mm.

Full length baroque portrait of Field marshal Rudolf von Colloredo. Colloredo was the commander in chief of the defence of Prague when the Swedish army attacked in 1648. Although a prominent character in Europe at that time, there are not that many portraits connected to his name and this must arguably be considered as one of the best.
The painting was taken from Prague as war booty by the Swedish army in 1648.
