Poupée Bébé Jumeau, d'Emile Jumeau, fabricant (Paris 1842-1901) France, fin 19è siècle Tête en biscuit de porcelaine dure, corps en composition, vêtements en tissu Achat en 1915 En introduction à l'exposition sur la poupée Barbie, le musée des arts décoratifs expose cette poupée de la maison Jumeau de Paris qui était destinée à témoigner du raffinement des vêtements français pour enfants. En effet, dès le XVIIIè siècle, des poupées de mode, montrant les tendances des nouveaux vêtements créés en France, étaient largement diffusées en Europe.
