Description
English: Quality Save The Art Deco facade belonged originally to the Hippodrome Cinema on Clarendon Street. The Hippodrome closed in the 1960s and was re-opened by Morecambe & Wise as a Supermarket. In the 80s it housed a huge range of stalls on two levels including a popular cafe. Now only the ground floor is used as a supermarket.
