Summary
[edit]DescriptionReading platform 7 - direction London Paddington (geograph 7403285).jpg |
English: Platform 7 at the main station in the English town of Reading, looking on the direction of London Paddington. Prior to the rebuilding in the early 2010s, this platform was numbered 4 and was the principal down platform. Today it is mostly used by Great Western trains from Paddington to Taunton and beyond, and by reversing Cross-Country trains between Bournemouth and Birmingham and beyond. To the right a third-rail electric train on the Reading to London Waterloo line can be seen in platform 6. |
