Português: 💸 Divulgado nesta quarta-feira (05/07), o Relatório Mundial sobre Investimento 2023 revela que os países em desenvolvimento enfrentam uma lacuna de investimento anual de US$ 2,2 trilhões para a transição energética.
O relatório destaca que os países em desenvolvimento precisam de investimentos em energia renovável de cerca de US$ 1,7 trilhão por ano, mas atraíram apenas US$ 544 bilhões em investimento estrangeiro direto em energias renováveis em 2022. Globalmente, os investimentos em energias renováveis quase triplicaram desde 2015, mas a maior parte do dinheiro foi para os países desenvolvidos. O relatório da Conferência das Nações Unidas sobre Comércio e Desenvolvimento (UNCTAD) também alerta que os países em desenvolvimento enfrentam uma lacuna de financiamento anual de US$ 4 trilhões para alcançar os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável até 2030. As Nações Unidas pedem apoio urgente aos países em desenvolvimento para atrair mais investimentos em energia limpa e acelerar o progresso rumo aos ODS.
