| Description |
English: Remains of railway bridge over the Shropshire Union Canal About two miles from Audlem, this shows the towpath and the bridge wall.
The canal was crossed by the former Great Western Railway line between Market Drayton and Nantwich, opened in 1863 and closed in 1963. The station at Audlem was immortalised in the song "Slow Train" by Flanders and Swann. |
