Description
English: Restored Hammer & Grindstone on the Green at Belbroughton, Worcs The plaque reads ’This hammer was made by CC Bradley and Sons of Syracuse USA c.1897 and used for planishing in the local Nash Scythe Works until 1968. Donated by My D Cooper of Drayton Forge, it was sited here by Belbroughton History Society and Parish Council in commemoration of the village’s industrial heritage. Unveiled ny Mr Wilfred Saunders, Nash Works former 8th May 1995.’
