English: Ribblehead Viaduct Walk 22nd July 2007 The Settle & Carlisle Railway Line was closed between Settle & Carlisle for 2 Weeks in July for track repairs. On the last day of the closure, a special event was organised by the Friends of the Settle & Carlisle Railway & Network Rail to allow members of the public the opportunity to walk across the famous Ribblehead Viaduct. Over 2000 people participated.
Here walkers are waiting their turn to start the walk from Ribblehead Station. |
