River Lavant enters the Fishbourne Channel of Chichester Harbour

| Description |
English: River Lavant Entering Fishbourne Channel Viewed from the western bank of the channel across saltmarsh. There are theories that this is not actually the original entrance to the Lavant, that the river was diverted during Roman times from its original mouth at Pagham Harbour to this point to service the harbour the Romans built near Fishbourne. |
