Full caption reads as follows: Riverbank, San Joaquin Valley, California. Newly-built store and trading center typical of new shacktown community. This community of about 70 families is located near large tomato cannery. The Blackwood Family who are building and operate this store came from Clay County, Arkansas; are one of four related families who have migrated to California since 1936. (English)
