Summary
[edit]DescriptionRoad to Abergwesyn, and the Afon Irfon, Powys - geograph.org.uk - 1071994.jpg |
English: Road to Abergwesyn, and the Afon Irfon, Powys. Approaching Abergwesyn on the mountain road from Tregaron, there are three fords crossing and recrossing the Afon Irwin here. These fords have now been built up into "Irish bridges" and the first can be seen in the middle of this scene. The road is a popular tourist route especially during the summer, but can be impassable in icy winter conditions or after heavy rain.
