Summary
[edit]DescriptionRobber's Bridge - geograph.org.uk - 178838.jpg |
English: Robber's Bridge. The road to Oare is either reached through the ford or over the very narrow bridge. You'd need a robust four wheel drive vehicle to negotiate the ford as the entry by the photographer is rutted and the water quite deep. Both sides of the bridge have several stones missing from the parapets where cars have got the angle of approach wrong! If you make it to Oare you can visit the church where Lorna Doone was shot (allegedly). |
