| Description |
English: Route marker on the Snake Trail, Holidays Hill, New Forest. The New Forest Reptile Centre is at the SE corner of the Holidays Hill Inclosure, and a specially designed "Snake Trail" has been signposted through the plantation. In the foreground is one of the carved and painted route markers alongside the main path up Holidays Hill. I presume that the idea is you follow the trail and maybe see some snakes in the wild? You're more likely to see them basking out on the open heathland (as we did on this same day). |
